We conduct employee and customer research. Protecting survey respondents' privacy is of utmost importance to us. We inform respondents as to the nature of the study and how the data will be used; we discuss length of the interview and assure confidentiality. ROI Research Inc. conducts customer research on behalf of our clients and may provide full disclosure of the study sponsor if necessary.
ROI Research Inc. takes every measure to ensure that no personally identifiable information is collected about survey respondents unless it is voluntarily provided by the respondent through either email, a request for information, or conference registration. Except as permitted in CASRO's Code of Standards and Ethics for Survey Research or as required by law, if you are asked personally identifiable information during the survey, the personally identifiable information will not be shared with any other party, unless you consent. We may use information about you to conduct future surveys or studies, but your participation is always voluntary.
We do not rent or sell any information to third parties other than the client for whom the survey was conducted.
As a client, you can be assured your customer information is kept strictly confidential. We also guarantee a secure environment for client surveys and data. All information is stored in a protected location.
ROI Research Inc. routinely reviews its security and privacy practices, and improves on them to better protect your privacy. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post notification of those changes to this privacy policy on the homepage so users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected. If, however, we are going to use a respondent's personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify users. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. However, if we do not have current contact information for a respondent, then they will not be contacted, nor will their personal information be used in this new manner.
